Childcare Enrichment PROGRAMS
The Travelling Stage is a premier provider of daytime and after-school programs for Child Care Centres. We offer weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly programs available in your space. Registration can be managed by The Travelling Stage or through your school/centre. Our programs cater to Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers, Kinders, and School-Aged Children. Additionally, all programs are available during school hours as part of curricular instruction.
Childcare Enrichment MULTI-WEEK PROGRAMS – AVAILABLE IN 8, 12, 16 WEEK AND FULL YEAR DURATIONS
CIRCUS ARTS
Children will love stepping into the circus ring to perform as clowns, acrobats, and magicians. Program includes clown and mime exploration, role playing, magic and drama, acrobatic and balancing acts and circus inspired movement. Suitable for PS, Kinders and School Age.
FANTASY WORLD ADVENTURES
Participants will create an entire fantasy world with its own rules, characters, and adventures. Sessions will include designing maps and landscapes of the fantasy world, creating unique characters and backstories and acting out original adventures. Suitable for School Age.
FRACTURED FAIRY TALES
This program reimagines classic fairy tales by adding humorous and modern twists. Each session presents a well-known fairy tale but with unexpected changes in the plot, characters, and setting. The program aims to encourage creativity, diversity and critical thinking through unique storytelling. Suitable for Kinders and School Age.
GIGGLE GROOVE
This creative class was designed with active toddlers in mind! Children will explore music, movement and stories as they work on their gross motor skills. Suitable for Toddlers.
INFANT AND TODDLER MUSIC PROGRAM
Through playful songs, movement activities, and exploration of age-appropriate instruments, children will develop essential skills in language, motor coordination, and social interaction. Suitable for Infants and Toddlers.
MAD ABOUT MUNSCH
Based on a different Robert Munsch story each week, this multi-session program aims to unlock imaginations through drama strategies, movement, creative exercises and role play activities. Suitable for Toddlers, PS, Kinders and School Age.
MUSICAL PRODUCTION PROGRAM
Participants will sing, dance and act with the culminating task being the presentation of a musical! This is a great program if you're looking for something to show to parents and invited guests. OUTER SPACE ADVENTURE CLUB
Inspired by space exploration, planets, stars and our solar system, this multi-week program combines drama, dance, music, imagination, yoga, mindfulness and storytelling with a different adventure each week. Suitable for Toddlers, PS, Kinders and School Age.
PIRATE ADVENTURE CLUB
Participants will set sail on the high seas as pirates searching for treasure and adventure. Each session will have participants role playing, creating and performing pirate-themed adventures. Program will also include storytelling sessions about pirate legends and treasures. Suitable for PS, Kinders and School Age
PRESCHOOL DANCE PROGRAM
Led by experienced instructors who specialize in early childhood dance education, each session is crafted to engage young dancers through playful activities and age-appropriate choreography. Children explore basic dance techniques, develop coordination, and enhance motor skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
STORYTELLING ADVENTURE CLUB

THE ANIMAL KINGDOM
Children will explore animals and nature through creative movement and dramatic arts. Suitable for Toddlers, PS and Kinders.
THE DETECTIVE AND MYSTERY CREW
This program has participants becoming detectives to solve mysteries through dramatic play. Each session will introduce a new mystery, which students will act out through role playing, scenarios and clues. This is an improv program, that's best suited for school age children. Suitable for School Age.
THE YOGA ADVENTURE CLUB
This multi-week program explores a different adventure and theme each week through yoga and mindfulness. Suitable for Toddlers, PS, Kinders and School Age.
TRAVELLING STAGE BALLET PROGRAM
Our curriculum introduces students to classical ballet movements, positions, and vocabulary, fostering strength, flexibility, and poise. Through structured exercises and creative choreography, students build confidence and discipline while exploring their passion for dance. Suitable for PS, Kinders and School Age.
TRAVELLING STAGE BUCKET DRUMMING PROGRAM
This exciting program introduces children to the art of percussion using buckets and drumsticks. Led by experienced instructors, sessions focus on teaching basic drumming techniques, rhythms, and coordination through interactive and engaging activities.

This program explores the world of Encanto through music, movement and drama. Children will sing, dance and act their way into Mirabel's world of Colombian music, Latin dance, flowers and magic. This is a fully participatory workshop. Suitable for Toddlers, PS, Kinders and School Age.
FRIENDSHIP and KINDNESS YOGA
Explore the concepts of friendship, community and kindness through accessible yoga poses and breathing techniques. Suitable for Toddlers, PS, Kinders and School Age.
FROZEN INSPIRED DANCE and DRAMA
This program explores the world of Frozen through music, movement and drama. Children will sing, dance and act their way into the world of ice castles, silly snowmen and magic. This is a fully participatory workshop. Children are encouraged to wear costumes, but it’s not required. Suitable for Toddlers, PS, Kinders and School Age.
GARDEN YOGA
Kids will learn about ways they can protect the earth while enjoying the benefits of yoga through our new eco-yoga program. We encourage you to run this program in an outdoor space. Suitable for Toddlers, PS, Kinders and School Age.

MINDFULNESS FOR CHILDREN
This program introduces children to the concept of being mindful through experiential lessons on intention, attention, attitude and gratitude. Participants will explore ways to live in the present moment with openness and gain tools to move through their days with more joy, ease and kindness. NURSERY RHYME YOGA
