The Travelling Stage brings engaging, age-appropriate arts experiences directly to your childcare centre. Our programs are offered on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis and are designed to inspire creativity, movement, and self-expression in children of all ages—from infants to school-aged learners.
Each visit encourages exploration through dance, drama, and music, helping children build confidence and joy through the arts.

Introducing Our New 2026–2027 Childcare Enrichment Collection
At The Travelling Stage, we’ve completely reimagined our childcare enrichment programming for the 2026–2027 season.
Rather than offering a collection of individual workshops, we’ve created a comprehensive enrichment curriculum built around four creative learning pathways. Each pathway is thoughtfully designed to support children’s development through imaginative, hands-on experiences that nurture creativity, confidence, communication, collaboration, and curiosity.

THE CREATIVE STAGE
Drama • Storytelling • Imagination
Creative confidence begins here. Children explore characters, emotions, storytelling, role-play, and imaginative play while building communication, empathy, and self-expression.

Creative Drama*
Children discover the magic of theatre through creative games, storytelling, movement, and role play while learning to use their voice, body, and imagination to bring characters to life. Suitable for Kinders and School Age.
Storybook Adventures*
Participants will create an entire fantasy world with its own rules, characters, and adventures. Sessions will include designing maps and landscapes of the fantasy world, creating unique characters and backstories and acting out original adventures. Suitable for School Age.

Circus Stars: The Art of Clowning*
Discover your inner clown! This program focuses on physical comedy and creative expression. Children design a unique, playful clown character through the power of movement and imagination. Suitable for School Age.

Fast-paced theatre games encourage quick thinking, creativity, teamwork, and confidence while helping children develop strong communication and problem-solving skills. Suitable for School Age.
Character Creation*
From brave heroes to silly monsters, children invent original characters complete with personalities, voices, and stories to encourage empathy and self-expression. Suitable for Kinders, and School Age.
Fractured Fairy Tales*
This program reimagines classic fairy tales by adding humorous, modern twists to encourage creativity, diversity, and critical thinking through unique storytelling. Suitable for Kinders and School Age.
Heroes & Villains*
Every great story needs a hero and a villain! Children create unforgettable characters while exploring storytelling, teamwork, and imaginative adventures filled with excitement and humour. Suitable for PS, Kinders, and School Age.
Pirate Adventures*
Participants set sail on the high seas as pirates searching for treasure. Each session includes pirate-themed role play, storytelling, and dramatic adventures. Suitable for PS, Kinders, and School Age.
Detective & Mystery Crew*
Children become detectives solving exciting mysteries through dramatic play, role-playing, tracking clues, teamwork, and collaborative problem-solving. Suitable for School Age.
Mad About Munsch*
Based on a different Robert Munsch story each week, children explore drama strategies, movement, creative exercises, and role play inspired by his beloved books. Suitable for Toddlers, PS, Kinders, and School Age.
Creative Writing*
Children work alongside an instructor to create their own original stories and scripts while developing creativity, storytelling, and writing confidence. Suitable for School Age.
Campfire Stories*
Gather around for exciting campfire tales before bringing them to life through drama games, storytelling, movement, and imaginative play. Suitable for Kinders and School Age.
Rainbow Drama*
Every session features a new adventure filled with drama games, songs, music, movement, role play, and imaginative exploration. Suitable for Preschoolers.
Sunshine Drama*

Participants work together to rehearse and perform a complete musical production for family and friends. Note: Requires at least two terms; licensing fees may apply.
